Mengyu Zhu is an associate at RuiMin. She specializes in M&A, private equity transactions, foreign direct investments and general corporate matters.

Before joining RuiMin, Mengyu have worked at the Beijing and Shenzhen offices of other leading PRC law firms.

Mengyu speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and is also proficient in French.

Experience
- Advising AstraZeneca on its US$1.2bn acquisition of Nasdaq-listed Gracell Biotechnology (ALB China 2024 M&A Deal of the Year Award)
- Advising China Mengniu Dairy on its strategic acquisition of China Shengmu Organic Milk, an HKEX listed organic milk company
- Advising Sandvik Machining Solutions AB on its acquisition of Suzhou Ahno Group, a group leading in the precision cutting tool industry of China
- Advising Foshan Construction & Development Group on its acquisition of controlling interests in A-share listed company Guangdong Wenke Green Technology (002775.SZ) at a consideration of around RMB632m
- Advising High Power Exploration Inc., a pioneering U.S. private company in mining technology, on its cooperation with China Gold, regarding collaborate exploration of gold mines in China
- Advising Canada Goose in relation to its direct investment and presence on Chinese market, as well as the opening of its physical stores and online shops in mainland China
- Representing a U.S. real estate group as claimant in the HNA Group reorganization process, successfully securing a claim amount of more than US$158m
Qualifications

Mengyu obtained duo LLB degrees from Sun Yat-sen University and University Lyon III of France. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School. She is qualified in China and the District of Columbia.
